Two months and 24 Days Later
It's been two months and 24 days since I started my new year diet. My dad died this month, and so did my dog. Both were old and nearing their time but neither my mom nor I were ready for it. This caused an upseet in my diet and exercise goals, a big one. There's been a lot of food and candy this month, a lot of grazing on Twizzler bites and eating out, and very little exercising in the mean time. A lot of my time was sitting on a couch, keeping my mother company. I don't blame her, I haven't been up for doing much of anything except grazing. Finally I feel my stomach got to a point where it told me to stop. I still eat a lot, I get to points where I'm very hungry and eat a lot and then I don't eat much the rest of my day. I've been trying to keep up with my water drinking but it's not as much as I'd like.
Yesterday I took the initiative to get back on track. I went to my local Fresh Thyme store and got some pills to help out. The Irwin Naturals "Carb Blocker" and "System Six" pills. I've been looking into the Keto diet, and following the basic principles. While I'm not doing a full keto diet, with no carb and high fats, the carb blocker with a lower carb intake helps. The system six pills help increase energy, metabolism, carbohydrate break down, antioxidants and more. I've been back to work full time for 5 weeks and taken 2 and a half of them off for personal time. I'm thinking now that everything is settling back down, I'll have more execise from walking around my store and maybe even take time to exercise on my day off. I want to work on my ab muscles and core, and work on my cardio. Might be time to dust off the eliptical downstairs.
